August 17 at 6:00pm – Bedtime Story Time (children)
Join us for our first ever Bedtime Story Time! Hear a story, enjoy a snack and make your own pillow craft.

August 18 at 2:00pm – Sit & Knit (adults)
Bring your knitting projects and enjoy getting to meet and chat with other knitters. Get stuck or having difficulty with something? Jackie Dundon will be able to help you & answer questions about your projects.

August 18 at 4:30pm – Back-to-School Dream Board Workshop (Tweens and Teens)
Make a collage of your hopes, dreams and goals for the coming school year with us! Having a visual reminder of the goals you want to work towards is great motivation.

August 20 at 11:00am – Magazine Exchange (all ages)
Bring in your gently used magazines and exchange them for a new and fun one to read.

August 22 at 11:00am – DIY Paper Plate Dream Catcher (children & tweens)
Catch your hopes and dreams for the coming school year with a Dream Catcher you make yourself!

August 24 at 5:00pm – Valley Crafters (adults)
Do you enjoy crafting? Come join this group of like-minded adults & bring your latest project with you. Share you crafty hobbies with the group. Want to learn how to knit? The group facilitator, Kristen Brennan, would love to show you how! Open to all types of crafts: finger-knitting, crocheting, drawing, scrapbooking, jewelry-making, and more!

SEPTEMBER

September 1 at 2:00pm – Sit & Knit (adults)

September 1 at 4:00pm – Make a Poster for the Oley Fair Youth Poster Contest (ages 8-18)
This year’s theme is “Harvesting More”. Come to the library to get a posterboard and use a variety of colored pencils, crayons, and markers to create your poster to enter in the Oley Fair’s contest.

September 7 at 5:00pm – Decorate a Bowling Pin for the Oley Fair Contest (ages 8-adult)
Pre-registration is necessary for this event, so we are sure to have a bowling pin for each person who wants to decorate one. We will supply the bowling pin and a variety of materials you can use to decorate yours for the Oley Fair’s contest. Click here to register.

You bring the rock, we’ll provide the paint & sealer! Rock size may not exceed 4″x4″x2″.

September 12 at 11:00am – LEGO Mondays (ages 2-12 with adult supervision)
Stop in at the library on Mondays from 11am-2pm to build with LEGOs, Lincoln Logs, and building blocks. We have plenty for all to share. Please do not bring your own, so they don’t get mixed in with the ones the library has. Homeschool families welcome!
