Second Annual Ornament Competition at John Updike Childhood Home

Calling all Berks County students in grades K-12 (public, private, virtual & home schooled): Create a holiday ornament for our museum tree. Be creative using one or more of these Updike symbols:

• Centaur
• Rabbit
• Books
• Typewriter
• Art/Palette
• Church Steeple
• Pigeon
• Basketball

AWARDS

• Elementary (K-8): $50
• Secondary (8-12): $50

Please drop your ornament off at the house on Saturday, December 3, or Saturday, December 10 between 12:00-2:00pm. Make sure to leave your name, address, phone number and school.

Many of the ornaments will be displayed in the house.

Winners will be notified by December 17.
