We are celebrating Earth Week this spring by participating in the 14th Annual Neighborhood Forest Free Tree Program, whose aim is to provide free trees to kids every spring. Don’t have a child but still want to plant a tree? YOU CAN! Just enter NA in the lines on the registration form asking for the child’s name and grade.
Since 2010, Neighborhood Forest has engaged over 1,000 institutions, reached over 250,000 families, and planted over 90,000 trees through the hands of children and parents across North America.
The Oley Valley Community Library endorses this project and is excited to be participating in this wonderful program that teaches kids stewardship through the magic and wonder of planting and watching trees grow.
Please fill out the online registration form FOUND HERE by Friday, March 17, 2023. Each registrant will receive a 6-12″ tree during Earth Week (April 22-30). The exact species will be revealed in early April.
During registration, you will also have the option to purchase additional trees and tree-related educational products. The purchases will help fund more free trees for kids.
Trees will be delivered to the library, and we will let you know once they have arrived so you can pick them up at your convenience during Earth Week.
