Tammie Rothermel, an award-winning author, will be holding a book sale & signing at the Oley Valley Community Library on Saturday, October 15 at 3:00 (following the Oley Halloween Parade), for her 5-star novel, More! Come meet the author, discuss writing and publishing techniques, and get a copy of her book signed!

Rothermel fell in love with the Oley Valley when her husband, who was born and raised in the Valley, brought her “home”. Consequently, she adopted Oley as her hometown. “So, it was a natural fit to set my novel amid these lush rolling hills and magnificent stone homes.”

Along with the Oley setting, Tammie combined her other passion – the British Music Invasion – to create her novel. More! reaches beyond the Romance genre by weaving an undertone of intrigue, action, and adventure throughout. “One of my best reviews came when a contractor, who picked up his wife’s copy of the book to kill time before a basketball game, wrote me to say that he never saw the game.”

Rothermel’s first book, Nevermore? was nominated in 2006 for an Independent Publisher Award (IPPY) for Best Fiction of the year and received 1st Runner-Up in Romance in the United States.

In More!, sixteen-year-old Nikki, steeped in the traditional values of the Oley Valley, dreams of turning her Sunday choir performances and roles in high-school musicals into a singing career.
