We appreciate it when you think of the Oley Valley Community Library for your book donations, but due to limited storage space, we can only accept donations that meet our guidelines below. Your donation will be added to our library collection or will be sold at our book sales or through an online program that raises money for the library.

We will accept:

• Hardcover & paperback books in good condition
• Audiobooks on CD
• DVDs and CDs without scratches and in original cases

We can not accept:

• Reference materials (encyclopedias, dictionaries, etc.)
• Damaged books or books in poor condition (anything with broken book binding, missing pages, excessive writing or highlighting, or anything that is musty, moldy or has water damage)
• VHS or Cassettes
• Magazines
• Textbooks
• Any books that do not have a barcode

We can only accept 4 boxes or bags of books per patron at a time, as we are limited on space to keep the books while we sort through them.

Please DO NOT leave books outside the library. Please bring them into the library during regular operating hours:

• Sunday: CLOSED
• Monday: 10am – 4pm
• Tuesday: 1pm – 7pm
• Wednesday: 1pm – 7pm
• Thursday: 1pm – 7pm
• Friday: 10am – 4pm
• Saturday: 10am – 4pm
